Praise Him! Praise Him!

I have been quite overwhelmed in the last ten days to say the least. If you've been following Kelly's blog, then I'm sure you have been to. When I saw this picture for the first time today, it was a celebration! I was trying to figure out a way to sum up the past ten days, but then I read Jacquie's post over at Middle of Eleven, and she said it well. So go here, and take a look.

One exciting thing for me since Harper's birth, has been the opportunity to teach Jaiden more about praying, and for her to see her prayers answered. That little girl prayed her heart out with us for days! For several days, we kept "How Great is Our God" playing on my laptop with a picture of Harper up. Jaiden would crawl up in the chair and reach her hand out to the screen and pray to God to "help her feel a lot better," "let her come home," and "take the wires off of her." She would ask "God please heal Baby Harper in Jesus' Name."

Every day she asks me if Harper is home yet. There were several times that we would worship and "praise dance" to the song How Great is Our God in the kitchen and living room. We'd praise a while, and then we'd get down on our faces and pray. Most of the time Jeryn was right there with us with both hands in the air turning in circles and making himself dizzy, but he was getting his praise on too! When he ran out of the room toward the bathroom, Jaiden ran after him yelling, "Bubby! Get back here, this is a time to praise God, not go play in the toilet!" Sadly, that's what he was headed to do.

She prayed at dinner, she prayed at Sunday School, she prayed in the car, and she prayed in the bed. So you can imagine when I called her to the computer tonight to show her Harper's recent photo of her eyes open for the first time. Her face lit up and she was so pleased! I said, "You see, God has answered the prayers of His people." She was astonished. There was a little song that I remember from when I was a kid that went "Praise Him! Praise Him! All ye little children, God is Love, God is Love! I was so excited for Jaiden to get to pray for something specific and witness God's unfailing love!

So far there have been four people that have accepted Christ in the last several days as a result of what God is doing through the Stamps and Martin families, and I'm quite certain that there have been many lives changed, and hearts touched...I know mine has been. Thanks to Kelly&Scott, and your precious families. You are an inspiration and we continue to pray Harper!

Micaela, you're just the best Momma!! Your home is filled with God's love and I can't even imagine how much this will impact your kids as they've witnessed your faithfulness. (even if one of them got a little sidetracked by the commode.)

It meant so much to me to be able to have you there for me/with me while all this unfolded. I am so grateful for your walk with God. You and Jamie are just amazing, godly women. (Your parents are blessed.)

This past week has made me want to let people know how much they mean to me... and you and your family certainly do!! We love you all.

OH Micaela - all of your comments have meant the world to our family. Every time we read one - we just smile and say "That Micaela is one in a million". We love you!
We've had so many people tell us their little children are praying for "baby Harper" and I think that's precious!

I read Jacquie's post earlier, and now as I read yours, II'm teary. I just can't agree more. So many lives have been changed from the work God is doing through this little life and her parents. It has definitely changed me! Their faith has been awe inspiring.

Praise Jesus for the miracle of Harper Stamps!

I love how you have been able to share with Jaiden through all this. You are the best mom. I can just tell!

Micaela, You are such a blessing in our lives. It is everything to me that you are such a Godly young mother and raising your children to know Him in such a personal way. If everything we have been through in the past two weeks helps to show God's provision and power, then it has been worth it all.

Love your encouraging words...they are like a balm on a deep hurt. You are loved by us so much and thanks again for your love and prayers. Harper is a beauty(if I say so myself! No bias...of course! har) Judy

Beautiful post Micaela!! The miracle of Harper just amazes me more each day. Brooks and I pray for them every night before he goes to bed. He asks me when Mrs. Kelly & Harper can come play at his house. Your babies are so fortunate to have you as their mommy!!

Great plans. We cannot tell the kids though, as we know full well that would ruin the possibilities:) We'll pray about this for the next several years!
Blessings always,
