Eats & Treats

Today was J's turn to bring snacks for her class at school. They send a bucket home with the student when it's their turn. We sent it back with cheese and crackers, Veggie Tales fruit snacks, and HI-C punch juice boxes. We had fun packing the bucket and delivering it to class!

And here is the other J still trying to rope like Daddy...

I was really looking forward to today because I had a special treat planned--meeting a fellow blogger and new friend, Heather. She was every bit as pretty and sweet as I had anticipated, and her little boy is adorable too! J & Connor hit it off and picked a table and were chatting it up before we got back to the table with our food! They really wanted to sit at the tall tables, which was funny because Jeryn was practically underneath the table in his highchair! I didn't take many pictures because we had our hands full with the kids, but here are a few!

Heather & Connor, I enjoyed meeting the two of you so much!

We have a very busy weekend ahead of us, so I will post soon!

I am loving the lasso pics. My parents met during their rodeo days back in high school. I showed cattle back in the day...good times! I LOVE Heather! I met her in our KLife days...good times, too!

I laughed at Jeryn's highchair being 10 feet below the table! Also, the new deck--I hadn't seen it! Looks great!

I was stumbling around and found your blog. Love the music.

I saw where you went to OBU. My niece, Brooke, grad. from there (here as I live in the same town) about 5 years ago. I'm sitting here looking at her picture taken on the steps of Raley Chapel and can't remember which year she grad. :) (and another picture I didn't write info on the back!)

Anyway, loved your story of how you and your hub met. Very touching.

God bless you.

J looks adorable in her Chez Ami outfit. She could be their model! I love all the stuff I got at Jamie's party, but seeing J in that outfit makes me wish I would have gotten something from that line as well. Precious. She looks so proud with her snack bucket!

I'm so jealous you got to meet Heather (and that she got to have lunch with you, too). Two of my favorite bloggers getting to meet. So fun! Heather and I have talked about getting together for lunch, too. I just love her!!! She is so inspirational!

I'm wondering if you live in the same town as Heather??? If so, that is VERY close to me!
